Dictionary

Every year new words are added to our languages. In the 1980, internet was not a word and neither was website. Blogs, vlogs and cellular meant nothing to us. This year we will add a few more new words to the list. While they might be words that we know, the meanings are deeper. We now have virtual visits, telehealth and social distancing. Years ago if you called your doctor and said you had a terrible sore throat and couldn’t swallow and you needed medication because you were too sick to come out, they would say no. They had to see you. Now it is the exact opposite. Stay home and they will prescribe. Years ago someone who was socially distant was not normal. Now they are congratulated for doing it. Times change, rules change and life goes on.
