The Light

For some reason, the standard of house construction in the 1950's was not to have lights in the living room. All other rooms have the overhead lights. For 32 years, I have wanted highhats in my living room. I never did it because I never had the extra money. A few weeks ago, my son said he would put them in for me. Yesterday he came over with a box of six highhats and all of the electrical materials. He worked for about four hours and installed them perfectly. Considering that he is not an electrician, I am very impressed. After all these years I finally have lights.
