Automatic

I switched fuel companies this year. I had been with my previous one for about 10 years but they were no longer the lowest priced company. Every company has special pricing for their new customers and they bump up the price the next year. I changed companies for that lower pricing. I have always been on automatic delivery and have about 4 deliveries a year. This new company seems to think that automatic delivery should be monthly. That is where our opinions differ. If they calculate correctly by "degree days" they should know when my tank is between 1/4 and 1/2 full. That is when a delivery should occur. When I received a delivery yesterday for 96 gallons, I needed to call them. They said that it takes 3 years to see what my usage is and then deliveries will be spaced out better. I told them that I no longer want automatic delivery and I will call when I need oil. They said that they could not take the account off of automatic. I told them that I had no problem with automatic delivery, but I do have a problem with automatic payment. They said they would review this with the supervisor and the deliveries will be spaced out longer. Next year, I am sure I will no longer be with this company.
