This One's For You
Last night I had dinner at a Thai restaurant. We have been going there for years. During our meal a group of five women came in. They were in their 70's and looked like the Golden Girls. They read the menu and called over the waiter. They asked a million questions. They wanted to know the names of the dishes that were pictured on the menu. They wanted to know which dishes were similar to Chinese dishes. This went on for about ten minutes. The waiter was very patient, answering each question in a kind manner. Finally he said that he would recommend a few dishes that he thought would be right for them. They asked why he thought they would be right and he said he just knew. When their food came out it looked like chicken and broccoli, chow fun and pepper steak. They looked so happy and enjoyed each dish. I heard them saying that Thai food is delicious. The waiter basically brought them Chinese food. He really did know what was right for them.
