Music To My Ears

Yesterday afternoon my phone rang. When I answered it, my father was on the line. He said that he had a song for me. I was not sure what he meant until he started singing. He has always had a good voice and loves to sing. He began to serenade me with the song, "You Are So Beautiful to Me". I soaked in every word as he sang, with a big smile on my face. I asked him what made him call me to sing that song. He said that my sister's granddaughter sang that song to my sister and he loved it, so he wanted to sing it to me. Hearing him sing was a gift. Some moments in time stay with you forever. This is one that surely will.
