City Time

After traveling on the Belt Parkway weekly for months, I have realized that there is a concept of city time vs country time. That fact was proven yesterday. We spent a lovely day in New Hope, Pennsylvania. The trip home was broken down into two parts. The country ride and the city ride. It took 90 minutes to go from Pennsylvania to Coney Island. It took 90 minutes to go from Coney Island to Long Island. The first part of the trip was 70 miles and the second part of the trip was 30 miles. If this was a math question on the SAT's, no one would get it right. I see why city people are so high strung and country people are more relaxed.
