Happy Anniversary

Today is my sister's anniversary. She is married 37 years. She got the best anniversary gift. A post it note from her husband saying, "Happy Anniversary, buy yourself something purty". She wrote ditto under the words. That is what I call a great gift. I am at the point in my life that a few words and a "buy your own gift" note makes my day. I do not need more clothes or jewelry and if you buy me flowers they had better be from the supermarket. If you made it to 37 years, gifts are not necessary. A quiet day without problems trumps everything.
