Last Contact

I have worn contact lenses for 43 years. Today is the last time I will wear them. I have to be without lenses for a week prior to having my eyes measured for my cataract surgery. It will feel weird to go to work in glasses until April 1st. No one at my office has seen me in glasses and to be honest, I look kind of geeky in them. I feel like it is an end to an era.
