A Nation Changing
Eight years ago the now president ran on a platform of "change". He never really said what he would change but the nation believed it would be for the better. It wasn't. We went from strong to weak. From secure to insecure. From good healthcare to terrible healthcare. From a patriotic president to an anti America president. What president does not visit Arlington Cemetery on Memorial Day? What president does not join with other country's leaders in Paris to show unity? What president misses a Supreme Court Judge's funeral? What president misses a former first lady's funeral? The list goes on and on. The answer to all of the above questions is .....our president. Finally we have a loose cannon running for office. He speaks the mind of the citizens. He is arousing feelings that Americans have locked away for eight long years. We are feeling empowered again. We are feeling hope again. That feeling is upsetting the men and women on Capital Hill because they know their days of dishonesty are almost over. The riots at rallies show us that we now are fighting for something. We are fighting for our country to be great again.
