Back To Work

After being off for ten day, I return to work this morning. It feels strange. I never take this much time off and it seems like it is so much longer. The first day back is always hard. When I am away no one does my work. No one opens the mail. No one returns the telephone calls. I will walk in to a pile of papers sitting on my desk. I am sure that by lunchtime everything will be in it's proper order but I still do not like looking at a mess. Since today is a holiday, at least the commute to work will be better. So, off I go to face the day.
